Discover the World
The fleet of traditional ships is the perfect choice for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, especially for those travelling alone. With some wonderful offers available on single cabins, on-board events arranged for solo travellers, and above all with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly crew dedicated to ensuring that everyone has an enjoyable time, whether you’re a seasoned single traveller or travelling alone for the first time, you can rest assured that you will feel right at home, wherever you decide to join us.
On cruises lasting six days or longer, one of the on-board team will act as a solo travellers' host. They'll be there to answer questions, lend a helping hand and help you get the most out of your cruise.
All solo passengers will find a letter waiting in their cabin, full of information introducing their host and the ship. There'll also be an invitation to the welcome cocktail party and the first of the solos' get-togethers.
Solo travellers are allocated to tables of six or more, and shared with other solo passengers. Head to dinner on your first evening, and get to know your fellow solo travellers over a relaxed meal.
Another friendly way to get to know your fellow solo travellers, these usually include: drinks in one of the bars and lunch in the restaurant on your first day at sea; a group dinner with your host one evening; a farewell lunch with drinks as your cruise comes to an end.
At each new port, the daily programme will include details of a specific meeting point that any solo travellers keen to explore ashore together can use (assuming there is space available).
