Sailing out of Liverpool, cross the Irish Sea to historic Belfast, before continuing north. Your first Scottish ports of call are pretty Tobermory and delightful Portree, on the handsome Hebridean islands of Mull and Skye. Magellan turns to the south and heads to the port of Greenock, along the scenic Firth of Clyde, before returning to Liverpool.

    Early this morning, Magellan arrives in historic Belfast. Explore the city centre, visit the new Titanic Quarter developments that pay homage to the ill-fated vessel, or join an optional excursion to the vast stone staircase of the Giant’s Causeway on the Antrim Coast beyond.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1830hrs

    The tiny town of Tobermory on the beautiful island of Mull, with its picturesque waterfront of brightly painted buildings, is a delightful place to explore, as is nearby Duart Castle, the famous seat of Clan Maclean.

  • Arrive: 0700hrs

    Depart: 1700hrs

    The tiny harbour of Portree is set on the sheltered eastern coast of the mystic Isle of Skye. It’s you gateway to a rugged island landscape of windswept moors that rise inland to the brooding Cuillin Hills, and to a coast teeming with wildlife. You may also have the chance to visit historic Dunvegan Castle, the world’s longest continuously inhabited fortress, on a shore excursion this afternoon.

  • Arrive: 1200hrs

    Depart: 1900hrs

    As Magellan arrives in the Scottish port of Greenock, you'll have the chance to join an excursion to one of two famous and fascinating cities. In Edinburgh, explore the Royal Mile, shop on Princes Street or take in city views from the ancient Castle's ramparts. In Glasgow, discover 'Scotland's style capital' and its fascinating blend of culture, architecture and design.

  • Arrive: 1200hrs

    Disembark in Liverpool at the end of a wonderful summer cruise.
