Getting to Liverpool Cruise Terminal

Boasting fantastic transport links, Liverpool Cruise Terminal is easily accessible from other northern cities and the rest of the UK. The port is just a 20-minute drive from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and there are bus links from there to the terminal. There is also a taxi rank adjacent to the Cruise Terminal on St Nicholas Place.

By train: The Cruise Terminal is approximately five minutes by taxi or 20 minutes on foot from Lime Street Station, Liverpool’s mainline station, which has connections to and from Manchester, London, Scotland and the rest of the UK.

By car: Leave the M6 at Junction 21a, and take the M62 towards Liverpool. The port is located within the secure port facility next to the Liver Buildings, and is clearly marked as ‘Liverpool Cruise Terminal’.

Facilities in the port of Liverpool

Liverpool Cruise Terminal is divided between two sites and is fully accessible. Toilets are located in both terminal buildings. Those boarding their cruise from Liverpool can purchase drinks and snacks inside the Baggage Reclaim and Passenger Lounge area. Passengers that require mobility assistance are supported with minibuses and wheelchair-adapted vehicles.
